Electric surfing : how does it work?

Allow 1 hour of activity: we take you by boat to an open and secure area of ​​Lake Maguide (MAX 4 surfers on the boat). Then we put the boards in the water and it’s up to you!

Depending on your desires, you regulate your speed with your remote control and you choose the speed at which you want to walk, from 5 to 35 km / h. You are the pilot! We welcome you with great pleasure from morning to evening, every day of the week.

1 / On your arrival, we will equip you with life jackets and we will explain to you the proper functioning of the equipment,

2 / We go by boat on the lake to a secure spot,

3 / We put the surfboards in the water and it’s up to you,

4 / For about twenty minutes, you can slide at your own pace by controlling the speed with the remote control.

5 / Return to the base on the beach.

An electric surfboard is a board designed to glide on water at speeds between 5 and 35 km / h, as you wish, using the remote control. The board is powered by a lithium-ion battery, activating the surf by pressing the trigger.

An electric surf is equipped with an electric propulsion system activated by a portable wireless remote control and does not rely solely on wave energy for speed.

A 4.5 kW electric motor sends water through a nozzle at the rear of the board, providing enough thrust for a top speed of 35 km / h.

Is an electric surfboard difficult to ride? Riding an electric surfboard is surprisingly easy. These boards require a certain balance, but are very stable: you have full control !

The only conditions are to be at least 12 years old, to know how to swim, to have an ID or passport and to come with the confirmed reservation. Children and adolescents under the age of 12 are not allowed to go electric surfing outside the 300-meter strip.

You don’t need to be in good physical condition to practice electric surfing. However, this sport is not recommended for people in wheelchairs or pregnant women.
